My world was shaken last year when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Now that all the treatments and surgeries are behind me, I can testify that Christ\u2019s love for me was never shaken, and through it all, I had a peace that I cannot explain.

I experienced the love of God more than I had at any time of my life, because I gave Him complete control. Putting my trust in myself resulted in fear and anxiety.\u00a0 But putting my trust in the Lord resulted in peace and joy.

I remember driving to and from MD Anderson Cancer Center listening to SiriusXM The Message<\/em>. Every song seemed to speak to what I was going through, reminding me that God loved me, and giving me hope that there was a purpose for my suffering. That I would come through it stronger in my faith and my character and that He would use my story to bring Himself glory.\u00a0 And He was faithful!\u00a0 I am stronger now than I was before breast cancer.\u00a0 And my experience gave me the ability to empathize with other people going through similar struggles and the platform to share how God carried me through difficult times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!<\/p>

How unsearchable his judgements, and his paths beyond tracing out!<\/p>

“Who has known the mind of the Lord?<\/p>

Or who has been his counselor?”<\/p>

“Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them?”<\/p>

For from him and through him and for him are all things.<\/p>
