This post does not contain a beauty tip but rather a comfort tip. I had my third and hopefully last breast surgery this week. I had a single mastectomy with reconstruction back in February. In June I had implants put in both breasts. This week I had a revision surgery to help with symmetry. My natural breast was considerably lower than my reconstructed breast (thank you gravity). After each surgery, I have had to sleep on my back for a period of time, around 3 weeks after the mastectomy and 2 weeks after the cosmetic surgeries.
I have always been a side sleeper, and sleeping on my back is very uncomfortable for me. I tend to lay my head to the side against the pillow and end up waking up with a sore neck. After my surgery this week, I had the idea to try sleeping with a travel neck pillow around my neck, on top of my normal pillow. I found it to be more comfortable, and I have not been waking up with a sore neck.
